TC4 titanium alloy, whose chemical composition is Ti-6Al-4V, belongs to (α+β) titanium alloy , has good comprehensive mechanical and mechanical properties. Its density is 4.51g/cm³ and its thermal conductivity is 7.955W/m·K. The chemical composition of TC4 ELI titanium alloy is similar to TC4, but has lower aluminum and oxygen content , giving it a higher purity and lower oxygen content, thus improving its corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.
2.Differences in application areas
TC4 titanium alloy is widely used in aerospace, petroleum equipment and other fields because of its high strength and good mechanical properties. For example, components such as the aircraft girder bulkhead, engine compressor section, engine hood and exhaust device are made of TC4 titanium alloy. TC4 ELI titanium alloys are more commonly used in fields with higher purity requirements, such as medical and sports equipment . Due to its low oxygen content and high purity, TC4 ELI titanium alloys perform well in the medical field and are often used in the manufacture of human implants.
