Titanium alloy: the "universal metal" titanium alloy in the aviation field is widely used in the aerospace field because of its low specific gravity and high specific strength characteristics.
In recent years, titanium alloys have not only been popularized in the military and aerospace fields, but also gradually expanded to many fields such as chemical industry, metallurgy, medical treatment and sports and leisure. Internationally, advanced titanium alloy materials such as high temperature titanium alloy, high strength titanium alloy and flame retardant titanium alloy have been widely used in aircraft structural parts and engine parts. For example, high-temperature titanium alloys Ti-6242S and Ti-1100 from the United States, as well as IMI834 from the United Kingdom and BT36 from Russia, all show excellent performance in high temperature environments. In China, the independently developed Ti-60 alloy is a 600℃ high temperature titanium alloy, with excellent thermal stability and high temperature creep properties. In addition, the high-strength structural titanium alloys developed by China in the early 21st century, such as near-β titanium Ti-B18 and metastable β titanium Ti-B20, have reached a high level of tensile strength. In terms of flame retardant titanium alloys, China has also made significant progress, such as the independently developed Ti-40 alloy, which has excellent flame retardant properties and mechanical properties, and has been developed to a semi-industrial scale. However, despite these achievements, China's titanium alloy industry still faces some challenges. For example, high-end titanium alloy products are still mainly imitation, the level of material development is low, and the scope of application is narrow. At the same time, the quality of metallurgy is unstable, the varieties are less, the specifications are not complete, and the research progress of related supporting technologies is slow.
Superalloy: the key material of aircraft engine Superalloy is a special alloy that can work stably in a high temperature environment above 600 degrees Celsius, and is a key material in the field of heat engine power such as aircraft engines. According to the product process differentiation, nickel-based superalloys dominate in superalloys, accounting for up to 80% of the output. Superalloys are widely used in aircraft engines, mainly used in the manufacture of combustion chamber, guide, turbine blade and turbine disc four hot end components. The performance level of these components directly determines the overall performance of the engine.
Therefore, the development and application of superalloy is of great significance for improving the performance of aeroengine. In China, the superalloy industry is still in the growth period, and the industry chain enterprises have a broad space for future development. However, compared with developed countries such as the United States, the number and production level of China's superalloy production enterprises still need to be improved. To sum up, China has made remarkable progress in the field of aviation materials technology, but there are still many challenges to face. In order to improve the overall performance of aviation equipment, China should continue to increase research and development efforts in new material technology, and promote the application and development of advanced materials such as titanium alloys and superalloys. At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the international advanced level to jointly promote the progress of global aviation material technology.
