Analysis of Characteristics of Hot and Cold Rolled Titanium Alloy Plates

The characteristics of hot-rolled sheet metal are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

      1. Significant work hardening. During cold rolling, the work hardening of titanium is more significant than that of ordinary metals, and it has greater deformation resistance, so the cold rolling process requires greater force.

      2. Easy to produce uneven deformation. During the cold rolling process, the rollers are subjected to significant pressure, which can lead to significant elastic deformation and rapid wear.This may cause uneven deformation of the board, resulting in cracked edges and uneven dimensions of the board.

     3. High requirements for surface quality. To obtain products with high surface quality requirements, cold-rolled sheets need to use rolls with high smoothness and slabs with good surface conditions. At the same time, it is necessary to adopt good lubrication conditions and maintain a good sanitary environment.
